Closeboard Fencing

Close board fence is proving more and more popular. The fence is made up of individual components. Between the posts are 2 or 3 aris rails sunk in to the posts (mortised). This makes a strong joint and strong fence. A gravel board is placed along the ground and attached to the posts. Then nailed to the aris rails are featheredge pales overlapped, using superior stainless steel nails creating a strong and attractive fence.

Superior Closeboard Fencing (Picture above)

Superior close board fencing has an attractive capping and a choice of post tops (rounded, wethered, capped). This provides an enhanced finish. (see above)

Value Closeboard Fencing

A value option to closeboard fencing using a nailed framework with wider featheredge pales overlapped.

All varieties of Panel Fencing

Panel fencing (closeboard panels and lap panels, trelis) Panel fencing offers a value option, the panels are pre assembled and screwed or clipped to the posts.

Palisade / Pickett Fencing

The classic cottage garden fence is available in several different styles and finishes including white painted, stained, pointed tops, square tops and rounded tops.

All Variations of Post & Rail Fencing

Post and rail covers several different types of fence

Cleft chestnut post and rail is sometimes known as Sussexfencing, comprises of attractive cleft (split) chestnut rails and either square posts or cleft chestnut posts. Cleft chestnut can have 2 or 3 rails and is a very attractive fence as either a boundary, paddocks fence ,or as a separation for different parts of a garden.

Nailed post and rail, traditionally used as fencing for fields and paddocks, it can be done using square posts and softwood rails, or square posts and ½ round softwood rails

All of these can be baked with wire mesh to keep smaller animals in or out.

Chainlink Fencing

Chainlink is an effective and non intrusive type of fence. Most widely known as the fence you have round a tennis court, chainlink comes in many different heights and using metal posts is very long lasting. The fence its self can come in dark green or plain metal so it blends in well with any background rendering it perfect for a boundary.

Chestnut Paling

Is a fence made up from individual pales of chestnut (about 2” thick) bound together with wire. The fence is a good natural fence great to keep the dogs in, available in a range of heights.

Freedom Fences

Freedom fences offer large open properties with a practical option to keep dogs and cats in. A wire is placed around the area you want to keep the dog or cat in. A collar is attached to the animal and with a range of training tools the dog is trained to avoid crossing the wire. (If they cross the wire they get a small shock deterrent). Eventually the animal associates the boundary area you have stipulated with a physical boundary and the collar can be removed.
